Hey, hi, hello:
I'm a Webby Award-winning writer, editor, digital strategist, brand consultant, and zeitgeist wrangler who firmly believes that people are still inspired by good storytelling.
In my 12+ years of experience I've worked on everything from print publications and digital platforms to established companies and start-ups, helping brands and organizations launch, grow, and evolve in a way that's authentic and impactful.
Storytelling's about so much more than just words on a page—which is why, yes, I can write 2,000 word feature articles, but I can also develop a campaign strategy, build out a viral social media campaign, storyboard a video series, and create a tagline worthy of a wild posting.
My work:
I’ve worked as an editor at Elle, NYLON, and Well+Good.
I’ve written about culture, travel, wellness, art, fashion, and beauty for print and online editions of The New York Times, Vogue, Glamour, Details, New York, Concierge, and many more.
I’ve consulted with brands including Lou & Grey, Urban Outfitters, Ann Taylor, Sephora, Adidas, Stone Fox Bride, and Schmidt's Naturals.
I’ve led the grassroots activist organization Rally+Rise since 2016 (when I founded it in my living room with a few friends)—you might have seen us touted by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Tracee Ellis Ross, or someone else on Instagram.
I’ve been featured in the New York Times, Vogue, the Wall Street Journal, Time Out New York, and more—and you may have spotted me speaking on or moderating panels for Create & Cultivate, Snapchat, Bulletin, and Be Well.
Fun facts:
I'm based in New York City but have had stints in Tokyo and Buenos Aires.
In college, I wrote my thesis on women and punk in New York in the 1970s. (And yes, I still graduated with distinction in my major!)
My favorite interview ever was with Yoko Ono—halfway through, she interrupted me to say that I had the “soul of a dancer.”
I’ve never had Dr. Pepper. Ever. Tell me if I’m missing out on something delicious.
